SNACK SHACK SPRUCE UP!Updated Wednesday January 31, 2018 by Jenn Gallacher.
Greetings, Live Oak Little League Families!
My name is Jennifer Gallacher, and I am the new volunteer snack shack coordinator. This season is my first time serving on the board, and I look forward to working with all of you.
Since joining the board, I’ve learned a few things about the snack shack, including:
Proceeds from the snack shack go directly back to the league to purchase required equipment, maintain the fields, and organize all the games and events.
Our all parent volunteer staff allows snack shack profits to help keep our registration fees some of the lowest in District 39.
This winter talented board members donated their time to make some significant improvements to the snack shack, including:
Fixing the dishwasher
Installing a new water heater and faucet on the sink
Fixing the hot chocolate machine
As we prepare for the start of the season, I’ve scheduled two drop-in snack shack “spruce up” days. I’ll be at the snack shack with coffee, cake and cleaning supplies, and hope you’ll join me for a bit of dusting, scrubbing, and organizing. Any amount of time you could spare, on either day, would be great.
Any adult willing to donate time to clean (bring a friend!)
Snack Shack Spruce Up Days

It’s fun to volunteer, be part of a community, and help make LOLL the best it can be!
